Help! I've been ripped off. Yes, it even happens to Christians. Be it a company that doesn't live up to it's name, or a scam that takes us for everything. We sometimes get ripped off and are left with dilemma - do we report the incident or turn the other cheek. If you are like most of us you just turn the other cheek and walk sheepishly away - blaming yourself for being so naive to begin with. Hence the reason for this site.

While The Christian Link isn't the answer to all your marketing woes, it can assist you in selecting reputable merchants and reporting those who don't live up to their promises. We do not do any litigation, only reporting. Should one of our sites not live up to its advertising simply report it to us. Upon substantiating the claim we will pull their ad and report it for you to the scam agencies.

Our Faith Statement What we believe...
1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God.

     His miracles, in His vicarious   and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily
     resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return
     in power and glory - Amen.
4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people regeneration by the Holy Spirit
     is absolutely essential.
5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is
     enabled to live a godly life.
6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto
     resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
8. We believe that every believer is a minister and should exercise the spiritual gift that they
     possess through a ministry that uses that gift to its fullest extent.
9. We believe the Lord Jesus Christ committed two ordinances to the Church: 1) baptism,
     and 2) the Lord's Supper. We believe in baptism by immersion and communion, both of
     which are open to all believers in Jesus Christ.
10. We believe that the church is lead by the Holy Spirit and that church government should
     be simplistic, with the focus on ministry as opposed to fleshly promotion.

                                                          What is a pastor doing getting involved in
                                                          consumer affairs on the Internet? First off, I don't
                                                          want to see honest people get taken and second,
                                                          I haven't always been a pastor.

Back in 1975, after floating from one job to another I joined the US Army for three year tour. It was my first real taste of life. Prior to that I had never been out of my hometown and was bit naive about life. Well, more than a bit - to be truthful I got taken plenty of times.   Nothing like a good sounding scam to a kid with an Uncle Sam paycheck.

When my tour was over I tried my hand at many various jobs. It didn�t take me long to realize that selling insurance wasn�t my thing. Not that it was bad, it just wasn�t for me and I liked to eat. What I needed was a steady paycheck. I found it at the police department in Savannah Georgia. Not only did I find a paycheck, I found a career that I was suited for and stayed there twenty years.

It was during that twenty years I also realized God�s call on my life to be a pastor. So, in 1996 I was ordained and become pastor of a small Baptist church, to which I am still pastor today. What may sound like two opposite professions are in fact very much alike. Both have to do with helping and serving people.

The idea for The Christian Link is a mixture of the two as well. It provides a ministry and a policing service. But like any good ministry one person does not build it alone. I need your help to make this a site where people can feel good about making online purchases.
