Email & Online Fraud
Internet Crime Complaint Center. The Internet Crime Complaint Center [http://www.ic3.gov/] is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National White Collar Crime Center. Although they don't have a searchable database, it is a good place to go if you find yourself a victim of internet fraud.
  Report Spam:  If you get spam email that you think is deceptive, forward it to spam@uce.gov. The FTC uses the spam stored in this database to pursue law enforcement actions against people who send deceptive email.
Online fraud: e-mail directly to the federal trade commission a copy of any suspicious claim, pyramid scheme received in your e-mail box   uce@ftc.gov
Identity Theft - If you want to file a report about Identity Theft, please use the Identity Theft Complaint Form. https://rn.ftc.gov/pls/dod/widtpubl$.startup?Z_ORG_CODE=PU03
   Foreign Fraud - If you want to file a complaint about an online transaction that involves a foreign company, please use our econsumer.gov complaint form.  https://www.econsumer.gov/pls/econsumer/wimsnery2$com.main?p_lang_seq=1
Investments - Credit - Consumers
National Fraud Information Center [http://www.fraud.org/] if this was a "get rich quick" or "easy money" scheme and your local U.S. Postal Inspection Service [http://www.usps.com/ncsc/locators/find-is.html] if you recieved the offer in the mail. File complaints with both organizations.

  Insurance Companies:  All disputes are handled at State level - call  1-800-688-9889 or visit the Federal Information Center   for the location of your state's insurance commissioner.  File a complaint here and read/understand the set-up of some insurance corporation.
Better Business Bureau Online -  Promoting trust and confidence on the internet.    http://www.bbbonline.org/
  US Consumer Product Safety Commission  - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is charged with protecting the public from unreasonable risks of serious injury or death from more than 15,000 types of consumer products under the agency's jurisdiction.
  American Association of Individual Investors - The American Association of Individual Investors specializes in providing investment education in the areas of:  investing basics, financial planning & retirement,  comparing mutual funds, stock market investing, and improving your investment portfolio
  Attorney General [http://www.consumeraction.gov/state.shtml] and the Attorney General in the state the company is in along with your local consumer protection agency. Don't know who your attorney general is? Go to the National Association of Attorneys General [http://www.naag.org/].

Federal Trade Commission [http://www.ftc.gov/]. Although the FTC does not handle individual complaints, they are on the lookout for patterns of deception and unfair practices.

If you want to file a complaint about a violation of National Do Not Call Registry or register your telephone number on the Registry, Please go to www.donotcall.gov

Warn others through use of sites like Scam.com [http://www.scam.com/] and Ripoff Report [http://www.ripoffreport.com/]. At least it will give you a chance to vent and commiserate with others who fell for the same scheme.
